Private Group Classes (Ages 0-3)
Joyful, interactive music sessions for babies/toddlers and their grown-ups, led by Sweet Potato Music founder Leah Paul. Using original songs and engaging activities, these classes help little ones develop early musicality, language skills, coordination, and confidence—all while having fun with friends.
Details:
• Group Size: Minimum of 5 children (hosted with friends, playgroup, or neighbors)
• Pricing: $258 per child for a 6-week session
• Age Range: 0–3 years
• Location: Your home, yard, or neighborhood park (host provides the space)
• Format: 40-minute classes featuring singing, movement, and instrument play
Sweet Potato Music Makers (Ages 3–5)
A playful, skill-building music program where preschoolers learn real ukulele basics, sing, move, play musical games, and create music-inspired art projects. Classes encourage rhythm, melody, listening skills, and confidence. Each 4-week session is a buildable module, so families can continue enrolling as their child’s skills and creativity grow.

• Group Size: 5–8 children
• Pricing: $184 per child for a 4-week session (materials included)
• Age Range: 3–5 years
• Format: 45-minute weekly classes combining music instruction and themed art project time (including additional set-up and cleanup time by instructor)
• Materials: All instruments and art supplies provided
• Setting: Host provides a space with room for crafting and music-making
• Progression: Sessions build on one another—perfect for ongoing learning and skill development
Please note:
Host must provide a space suitable for crafting — a table or open floor area is fine.
Designed for children to enjoy on their own — this is a drop-off style program for independent preschoolers, parents are welcome to observe but are not required to attend.

Hosting Info & Policies
As Private Class Host, you will provide the location for the class, in a space with enough room to sit the group in a circle comfortably.
If something comes up that you are unable to host a particular class, the class will be held at another group member’s home or in a public park. 8 and 12 week series include ability to reschedule 1 date, while 4 & 6 week series classes cannot be rescheduled due to hosting conflicts.
5 children must be committed and paid in full 2 weeks before the first class, after 7 children are registered, drop-ins are permitted at $49/class with advance payment and a waiver. Classes are non-transferable for all participants.
Please submit the Private Class Inquiry form at least 3 weeks before your desired class start date. A quote with class timing and fee will be sent to potential hosts within 3 business days of receiving the form.
Participation Policy
All participants must sign a waiver, and obtain instruments prior to the first class. Instrument kits can be purchased through the Sweet Potato Music Store or substituted with your own comparable instruments (an egg shaker/tambourine, sticks, rainbow scarves and xylophone).
Participants must not attend if they have a fever or have just tested positive for COVID-19.
Payment Policy
5 children must be registered and paid in full at least 2 weeks before the first class, or the reservation will be cancelled.
Classes are non-refundable within two weeks of the start of the first scheduled class.
In the event a class series needs to be cancelled due to less than 5 children being enrolled two weeks prior to the start date, a 50% refund will be issued to all participants who have paid. (Alternatively, the group may pay the balance on the missing enrollees to hold the class time).
